Excellent quality and comfort in the hand

This stainless steel masher from IMEEA is one solid piece with no weld joints. For that reason, this utensil can last a lifetime. There's good weight and balance, and the rounded handle means no sharp edges digging into your hand. That's especially important for mashing by hand with the pressure required. As someone regularly dealing with hand pain flare ups, I really appreciate that. While it is dishwasher safe, washing by hand is better to avoid rust in my experience with stainless steel utensils. I'm very happy with this product, and highly recommend it.

I've had the same masher forever, it's over 40 years old. I could not find it, figured it accidently got into the garbage. Went to buy a new one, who knew you had to research these things now, but glad I did, this is better far more comfortable to use and works beautifully. Of course the old one turned up, but it is now the back up. The new one is so much easier to clean.
