This is what all your kitchen utensils should aspire to be: sturdy, well made, and multi-functional. It's larger than you expect. The slots on the spoon portion are small enough to strain pasta with, but the spoon itself is large enough to handle fritters from the fryer. It will hold up to boiling water or oil, so fishing out poached eggs or french fries is easy. The one drawback to this item is that it won't easily fit in some drawers, but it's so nice I don't care. There is a hole in the handle for hanging. I highly recommend this.
Perfect size for my 20qt stock pot. Works great for when I do sea food boils. Great quality slotted spoon. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
