This is a great size spoon that works well to portion small meals. The shape is somewhat squared like a shovel, it's easy to scoop. The handle is a plain design, measuring roughly 5.25 inches. The spoon is a good weight & feels durable. A nice addition to my kitchen utensils.
This spoon is largish, which is impossible to tell from the picture or comments provided by the seller. I was looking for a smaller spoon but liked the shape, and took a chance on the size. It's a nice spoon, so I'm keeping it, but it's useless for my intended needs. I so wish that sellers would always provide sizes in their descriptions. One star is taken off for the size mystery.

This is really thin and light. Unlike the gravy ladle and the salad servers, this feels cheap, like it's stamped from a sheet of metal rather than forged.That said, the size of the shovel is perfect for serving family-sized portions.
I love this serving spoon for when I have guests over and there are lots and lots of plates on the table. It always seems there aren't enough serving thongs, spoons and forks around. This is a great addition to my table.
I needed an extra serving spoon and this one is super cool and unique in that it has a wide opening for scooping up food out of bowls. It also closely resembles the style of the silver set that I own. It's a high-quality spoon. Highly recommend.
