The quality and make of this whisk is really good, and holding it is also made so it's comfortable. I was mixing pancake batter using this and where I like how it mixes and incorporates the ingredients I was surprised at the weight of this whisk while mixing and thought how it was using more of my strength than I anticipated. For soft batters this will be fine, especially in scraping the sides of the bowl where it does a much better job than the wire ones. but I'm not sure I would have the strength to actually use it on bread batter where I'm mixing it into a ball getting ready for kneeding, so I'll continue to use my electric mixer for that. Good size, and grip. Since it is stainless steel it cleans very easy and can be in the dishwasher.
This whisk is absolutely amazing! It mixes my dough so effortlessly. I love that it is stainless steel, so no worrying about it getting rusty, and I love the fact that it its all metal, as opposed to a wooden handle, so doesn't have any wood pcs that can come off with constant washing and can cause splinters! There is nothing here that will warp! Anyone making sourdough needs such a whisk!
The design of this dough whisk is perfect. Being one solid piece makes for much easier cleaning off dough and batter than a traditional wire whisk. This is a nice sturdy piece that doesn't feel like it will break.
