I find this a useful and convenient kitchen utensil for straining brown rice noodles to serve when making many different Asian soup style recipes. It's quick and easy as a single strain and serve when preparing multiple bowls, keeping the noodles warm until ready to serve. It's large and ends up being the perfect size for the one serving of noodles per bowl ratio that we like. Easy to clean, with a stylish look and a hook friendly wooded handle design.
I am pleasantly surprised at how solid this spoon is. I needed something better than the strainer I was using for my fried chicken, this spoon is actually exactly what I needed for this. The handle is long and solid, very easy to grip. The spoon part is very thick and doesn't bend at all. It's the perfect type of spoon for deep frying.
