Many people buy these to use one time at an event. They are inexpensive and did the job perfectly. We still have them in case we need them again. They are very sturdy and should hold up to whatever cake you use them for. We didn't see the need to pay the prices asked for a "Wedding Cake Cutting Utensil Set". Use these.
